Around 6,500 students from schools, colleges and educational institutions across Ahmedabad came together at the GMDC Ground on Tuesday to form a giant human rangoli depicting India.
Organised by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) and its School Board, the event was held under the theme "Seva na Rango, Rashtra na Sang," meaning "In the colours of service, together for the nation."
Seven Colours of Service
Students dressed in seven colours, orange, yellow, red, purple, green, blue and white, arranged themselves in groups to form the large rangoli of India.
