Sirsa: The second day of 'Kala Tarangini', a three-day talent hunt at Government National College, Sirsa, turned the campus into a stage for young speakers, poets and artists. The campaign aims to identify students' hidden talent, refine it and give it a platform. Day two featured literary and fine arts competitions held in an enthusiastic and dignified atmosphere.
The programme was presided over by college principal Dr. Anita Singh, and the entire event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Smriti Kamboj, in-charge of cultural activities.
"Talent Should Not Stay Confined to Classrooms"
Addressing the students, Dr. Anita Singh said such events support students' all-round development and build confidence, logical and creative thinking, and a spirit of healthy competition. She said students' talent should not remain limited to classrooms, and that performing on stage plays an important role in shaping personality.
