The country's largest electric car company Tata Motors is performing tremendously. The company is soon going to expand its EV lineup and launch 2 new electric SUVs shortly. These include Tata Curvv EV and Tata Harrier EV. Come, let us know about them.

Tata Curvev EV

The Curvv EV's launch schedule, which Tata has finally disclosed, is anticipated to take place between July and September of 2024. The car's external styling will resemble the model on display at the most recent Bharat Mobility Expo. It will therefore have LED DRLs. which will be connected by an LED strip on either side of the car.

Its interior is expected to be more opulent than that of the recently released Nexon facelift. A panoramic sunroof, a two-spoke multifunction flat-bottom steering wheel, two 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment screens, an instrument cluster, and dual-zone climate control will be standard features.

We believe that its battery pack will be slightly larger than that of the Nexon EV, as Tata claims that the Curve EV will give you a drivable range of 500 km. The Curve EV will also have a fast charging feature and is expected to be priced at around Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Harrier EV

The Harrier EV will go on sale by the end of this year, and it was recently shown off at the India Mobility Expo. It is anticipated to cost approximately Rs 25 lakh. Its exterior will look a lot like the Harrier facelift that was introduced towards the end of last year. It will have split headlamps with LED DRLs connected by an LED strip and a panoramic sunroof.

It is expected that the interior will also be very upscale. Along with dual-zone climate control, ventilated seats, seven airbags, a panoramic sunroof, a gesture-controlled powered tailgate, a 12.3-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, and a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, it also has a Level 2 AIDS suite.

Details of the battery pack have not been revealed yet, but we know that it will have a drivable range of around 500 km. It will be based on Tata's Gen2 architecture and interestingly, it is expected to have an AWD variant, with one motor on both axles.
