JAIPUR — In an administrative directive issued late Thursday night, the Rajasthan government executed a targeted bureaucratic reshuffle, reassigning six Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers and seven Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) officers.The administrative order issued by the Rajasthan Department of Personnel (DoP) included the transfer of the Udaipur Divisional Commissioner alongside new postings for three IAS officers who were previously awaiting posting orders (APO).
The official notifications—issued under strict compliance terms—explicitly mandate all transferred personnel to join their respective assignments immediately without taking joining leaves or personal time off.State officials emphasized that the zero-joining-time directive comes ahead of administrative readiness requirements for upcoming urban local body and Panchayati Raj elections.
Key Senior IAS Reassignments
Under the administrative realignments, Pragya Kevalramani, who served as Udaipur Divisional Commissioner, has been reassigned as Commissioner of Tribal Area Development (TAD). Khajan Singh, previously awaiting posting orders, assumes charge as the new Divisional Commissioner of Udaipur.
Further IAS assignments designated H. Guite as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) at HCM RIPA in Jaipur, while Avichal Chaturvedi takes over as Commissioner of Food Safety. Sohanlal moves from Additional Commissioner of Commercial Taxes to Joint Secretary in the Agriculture Department, and Divyansh Singh transitions from SDM Beawar to Joint Secretary in the Education Department.
Realignments Across State Administrative Services (RAS)
The state government also restructured key administrative positions across field collectorates and municipal sub-divisions, shifting seven RAS officers while cancelling one prior order.
