Poco X8 5G Launched Globally With 8,340mAh Battery, 120Hz AMOLED Display and Snapdragon 6s Gen 4
Poco has launched its new smartphone, the Poco X8 5G, globally. The device comes with a large 8,340mAh silicon-carbon battery, a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset, and a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display.
Poco has introduced its latest offering of a smartphone named Poco X8 5G worldwide. Poco X8 5G smartphone has high-refresh-rate AMOLED screen, latest 5G processor from Qualcomm, and a large capacity battery. The phone has a 6.83-inch screen with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate while its 8,340mAh silicon-carbon battery has 67W fast charging capability. Four IP certifications have been given to the phone for protection against dust and water. There are three variants of the phone in the global market while its Indian model will launch in India on 4th September 2023 with a 9,000mAh battery.
The starting price of Poco X8 5G model with 6GB + 128GB storage is $269 (around Rs. 25,500). Its 8GB + 256GB variant costs $299 (around Rs. 28,400). While its top-end variant i.e., 12GB + 256GB variant costs around $349 (around Rs. 33,100). Poco X8 5G model has three colors in the global market such as Black, Orange, and White. However, no information has been revealed about its launch date in the global market.
Poco X8 5G has 6.83-inch AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Its screen has support for peak brightness of 3,200 nits, HDR10+ and 12-bit colors. It has got screen protection from Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 while 3,840Hz PWM dimming support is present too. For performance, it has Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset from Qualcomm along with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. This phone runs on HyperOS 3 based on Android 16.
