Poco X8 Power and Poco X8 Launch in India Today: 10,000mAh and 9,000mAh Batteries, 120Hz AMOLED Display

Both of these smartphones will go live in India today, September 4th, at 12 noon. These phones will also be sold on Flipkart following the launch event. The official pricing of these devices will also be announced during the launch event.

The Poco X8 Power will be fueled by an octa-core Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset. According to the claims made by Poco, this device has achieved more than 10,00,000 points on the AnTuTu benchmarking platform.

Furthermore, the Poco X8 Power will have 8GB of RAM, just like the standard model. Both smartphones will feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED 12-bit display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 3,500 nits of peak brightness, HDR10+ support, 68 billion colors, TÜV Rheinland eye protection certification, and Wet Touch Display 2.0 support. For security, both phones will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Both the Poco X8 Power and Poco X8 will support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Both handsets will run on Xiaomi's HyperOS 3.0 based on Android 16. The company has promised four years of OS upgrades and six years of security updates for these phones. The Poco X8 will be available in Black, Fiery Orange, and Frost White color options.

Furthermore, the Poco X8 boasts IP66 + IP68 + IP69 + IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. In the battery department, the standard model packs a 9,000mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging support, while the Poco X8 Power packs a 10,000mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging support. Both phones also support 22.5W wired reverse charging.
