The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has issued some guidelines related to passengers to all airlines. The regulator has asked the companies providing airline services to inform about the rules related to passengers and the rules about the rights of the customers.
DGCA has instructed all the airlines to send the online link of the passenger charter available on the Ministry of Civil Aviation to the passenger as a message (SMS / WhatsApp) at the time of booking the ticket.
Additionally, display such information in a transparent manner on the websites related to airline tickets and the airline website. DGCA has taken this step in order to make passengers aware of their rights.
