Air India Cuts Fuel Surcharge on North America, Europe, UK and Australia Flights From July 1
Following the decline in oil prices, Air India has reduced the fuel surcharge on flights to North America, Australia, Europe, and the UK.
Fuel surcharges have been reduced by Air India for routes to North America, Australia, Europe, and UK following a decline in oil prices.
The reduction was announced by the airline in a statement on April 7, when the cost of crude oil and jet fuel had risen due to the unrest in West Asia. The increased costs of operation had led to higher expenditure for the airline.
Jagran Sources said on Thursday that the fuel surcharge has been reduced from $280 to $200 per ticket for flights to North America and Australia, and from $205 to $125 for services to Europe and the UK.
