  • OPD, Emergency, Anti-Rabies, Anti-Snake Venom, Jan Aushadhi Kendra, CSSD, laboratory and ambulance services are fully operational.

Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare J.P. Nadda on Monday chaired a critical review meeting to assess the progress being made in patient care and facilities at the Rural Health Training Centre (RHTC) in West Delhi's Najafgarh — a facility that has quietly become one of the more consequential rural-urban healthcare touchpoints in the National Capital Region. The scale of what RHTC Najafgarh now handles every month reveals just how important this institution has become for lakhs of residents on the western periphery of Delhi.

A Structured Review of Progress

Nadda's review examined implementation of initiatives aimed at strengthening patient care, infrastructure, manpower, academic activities and digital health systems at the Centre. Reviewing the progress made since the last such meeting on April 13, the Union Minister directed all agencies and institutions to ensure timely completion of ongoing works and coordinated implementation of planned interventions.
