boAt’s Crest AI to Bring Gemini Live, Real-Time Translation and Voice Controls to Audio Devices

On Wednesday, wearables brand boAt introduced its new AI platform named 'Crest AI' that will be present in its upcoming smart audio devices. As per boAt, there have been no official announcements made regarding any product launch with this experience as yet. All the company has done is talk about its new AI platform and the features it has in its upcoming products. Crest AI and its features are claimed by boAt to be developed in-house. But it is to be noted that the features will run on Google's Gemini model and will also be integrated with Gemini Live, enabling a fully hands-free AI experience in audio products.

According to boAt, the whole idea behind Crest AI was to simplify AI experience for its users. With the help of Google's Gemini Live, one can interact with the Crest AI using simple language through their smart audio devices.

In addition to the aforementioned, there are several other in-house features in the Crest AI platform, which include Crest Ask, Crest Act, and Crest Translate. The translation feature enables instant translation in real-time. It also supports multiple languages. With the help of this feature, one can converse in various languages ​​easily.
