Along with the announcement of the film, the entire star cast was unveiled. Amidst the increasing work of Welcome 3, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has now put a hurdle.

At the same time, clouds of trouble are looming over Welcome 3. The matter has escalated so much that the shooting of the film has reached the point of being stopped.
The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has accused Welcome 3 producer Firoz Nadiadwala of not paying workers. Along with this, the Federation has appealed to the entire star cast of Welcome 3 including Akshay Kumar and Disha Patani not to start shooting.
Akshay Kumar released the teaser of Welcome 3 on September 9. After a few days, the film got embroiled in controversy. According to ETimes report, FWICE has accused Firoz Nadiadwala of not paying the dues of Welcome 2 technicians. According to the Federation, Firoz had earlier said to give Rs 4 crore to the technicians, which he later reduced to Rs 2 crore. At the same time, when the check was deposited in the bank, they also stopped the payment.
