Jaipur: Registrations have opened for ‘Teen Miss Rajasthan’, billed as Rajasthan’s first state pageant for teenage girls. The contest aims to help young girls of the state build their talent, confidence and personality, and to give them recognition at the national and international level. Girls aged 13 to 19 can take part, and auditions will be held in Jaipur.
200 Entries Already, 1,000+ Expected
Ekta Jain, Founder Director of Teen Miss Rajasthan, said the pageant’s goal is to give Rajasthan’s young talent a big platform. About 200 entries have come in since registrations opened, and the organisers expect more than 1,000 girls to register this time.
That early response points to a gap the pageant is trying to fill. Rajasthan has adult pageants, but teenage girls have had few structured state-level platforms to build stage presence, communication skills and self-confidence before college or a career. For many families in smaller towns, a recognised state platform can also be the first real step towards national exposure.
