Vinicius amazing performance takes Real Madrid to knockout stage in Club Football World Cup

Thanks to a goal and excellent pass by Vinicius Junior, Spanish club Real Madrid progressed into the last-16 after defeating Austrian club Salzburg 3-0 during Group H of the Club Football World Cup. With this win, the Spanish club has secured the top spot in Group H and confirmed its place in the pre-quarter finals.

In this match at Lincoln Financial Field in America, Vinicius had an advantage because the pitch was slippery due to drizzle, yet he was able to score with his left shoe on a spectacular breakaway pass from Jude Bellingham in the 40th minute, and brought 64,811 soaked viewers on their feet.

Manchester City staged a brilliant performance and defeated Italian footballing colossus Juventus 5-2 and clinched Club World Cup football league tournament Group G and advanced into further round. In Thursday game at Camping World Stadium, Manchester City side was 2-1 up on 26th minute as a result of an own goal, when centre back Pierre Kalulu made an attempt at clearance of a pass from near distance and sent ball into his own goal.

In the second half, Erling Holland, Phil Foden, and Savinho scored for the English club to make the score 5-1. Earlier, Jeremy Doku scored the first goal for Manchester City in the ninth minute, but two minutes later, Tune Koopmeiners scored the equalizer. Dusan Vlahovic scored the second goal in the 84th minute for the Italian club, which finished second in the group.
