England national football player, Andros Townsend, was involved in a very strange accident prior to a Thai League One game. Townsend, who plays for PT Prachuap, got into the way of a pitch roller during the warm-up. Video footage of the accident has been posted online. Townsend was warming up for Saturday night’s match against Pattani when he jumped while performing an aerial backheel and landed in the way of the pitch roller. It has been claimed that the driver of the machine was looking away from the scene at the time.
