Security agencies across the country have gone on high alert following the blast near the Red Fort in Delhi. At all sensitive locations, including airports, railway stations, and metro stations, security has been tightened. The police have intensified checks and other security measures aimed at preventing any untoward incident.

According to Mid-Day, security has also been increased in Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra. No specific threat has been reported to Mumbai yet, but officials said that given the sensitivity of the incident and the metropolis's history of terrorist attacks, precautionary measures were necessary. Strict surveillance is being maintained at all major transport hubs, religious sites, markets, and coastal areas in Mumbai.

The intelligence units have been asked to monitor online chats and verify any suspicious activity or communication. Local police stations have been instructed to conduct surprise checks at hotels, lodges, and rental accommodations and verify the identity of new tenants and outside visitors.

Police teams have been put on alert in all districts of the election-bound state, and security checks have been intensified at major transport hubs, public places, and entry points into the state. The Haryana government has directed all district magistrates and superintendents of police to prevent the spread of rumors and ensure immediate action on any suspicious activity.

Haryana DGP OP Singh stated that vehicles are being checked at interstate borders. Public transport, parking areas, and hotels are also being checked. Special vigilance is being maintained in NCR districts. In Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewed the situation after receiving a briefing from Director General of Police Rajiv Krishna.

The Chief Minister has directed the police to remain on high alert, conduct thorough checks, and tighten security at public places, religious sites, and transport hubs. Security has been increased at sensitive installations and crowded areas in Chandigarh. Surprise checks are being conducted on vehicles and public transport.

Kerala Police Chief Raodada Azad Chandrashekhar has directed all district police chiefs to maintain coordination with state intelligence agencies. Gujarat DGP Vikas Sahay has asked all police units in the state to remain vigilant and increase patrolling.

Following the DGP's instructions, security has been increased at sensitive locations such as railway stations, and police teams have begun patrolling. Telangana Police have increased patrolling in Hyderabad and other cities across the state. By-elections are scheduled for the Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
