Jaishankar thanked Australia for congratulating PM; said- friendship of both countries will grow further
New Delhi: India's Foreign Minister S Jaishankar's Australian counterpart Penny Wong spoke to PM Modi on his victory in the Lok Sabha elections and congratulated him. Sharing the information, Jaishankar said that both countries will move forward with mutual cooperation.
Foreign Minister S Jaishankar held talks with Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong on Friday. He also thanked Prime Minister Modi for congratulating him on his third term. He also said that the friendship between India and Australia will continue to grow like this and we will continue to cooperate with each other.
Jaishankar tweeted on social media X and gave information about the conversation with the Australian Foreign Minister. He wrote, 'It was very nice to talk to Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong. I thank her for congratulating the Modi government on its third term. I am confident that India-Australia friendship will deepen."
