IPL 2024: Royal Challengers Bangalore star batsman Virat Kohli gifted a bat to Kolkata Knight Riders rising batsman Rinku Singh after his team's defeat.
Kolkata Knight Riders registered a one-sided win against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Friday. In this match, Virat Kohli played an unbeaten inning of 83 runs in 59 balls and played an important role in taking the team to the score of 182.
To achieve the target, Kolkata took only 17 overs and won the match by 7 wickets. After the match, Rinku Singh went to meet Virat Kohli in the dressing room of Bengaluru, where Kohli gifted his bat to Rinku.
Virat Kohli, 35, has participated in 240 IPL games thus far and has amassed 52 fifties, including seven hundreds. With 7,444 runs, he is the highest-scoring player in IPL history.
