India Mobile Congress 2025 will focus on 5G-6G to farmers and small industries
Jyotiraditya Scindia: Union Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said on Monday that the aim of the upcoming India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025 is not only to discuss 5G and 6G technology, but also to connect communities like farmers, MSMEs and children with digital connectivity.

This time, the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025 will be hosted by India will not just a technical platform, but it will become a bridge to connect different sections of society. On Monday, Union Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said that the Mobile Congress to be held in October will focus specifically on 5G and 6G technology and will also discuss new ways to provide digital connectivity to farmers, MSMEs, and school children.
On this occasion, Scindia launched the AI-powered India Mobile Congress 2025 app, in which citizens will be able to see all the information related to this event. He said that this time around, 1.5 lakh participants from 115 countries will attend the conference. India Mobile Congress 2025 is being organized from 8 to 11 October at Yashobhoomi (India International Convention and Expo Center) in Delhi.
He said, "India Mobile Congress is not just a platform for discussions on technologies like 5G, 6G, AI, and Internet of Things (IoT), but it is an opportunity to connect every part of society. Be it farmers, MSMEs, or children studying in schools, new hopes and new opportunities will emerge from here for everyone." Scindia said that this year, 30 ministries of the central government will participate in the upcoming Mobile Congress. With this, this event will not be limited to technology only, but will pave the way for digital transformation in various sectors.
The Telecom Minister said, “Through the app launch today, we are trying to take the experience of the audience and participants to a new level. Our vision this year is 'Innovate and Transform', which is directly linked to the goal of Aatmanirbhar Bharat as stated by the Prime Minister, and taking India towards victory by 2047.”
