UGC NET June 2026 Answer Key Out; Objections Till Aug 18

According to the NTA’s official notice, provisional answer keys have been uploaded for 84 subjects. Candidates can check their responses and question papers along with the answer key for these subjects. The provisional keys for three subjects—English, Commerce and Sociology—will be released separately. The notice stated that a committee had been constituted to examine complaints regarding various types of errors in the question papers for these subjects, and that a public notice on them would be issued later the same day based on the committee’s recommendations.

To access the key, candidates should visit the official UGC NET website, click the link related to the UGC NET June 2026 Answer Key, and log in using their application number along with their password or date of birth, as applicable. Once logged in, they can view the provisional answer key, recorded response sheet and question paper.

Candidates are advised to carefully compare the answers marked in their response sheet with those in the provisional key and to use the material to calculate expected scores before the final results are declared. Objections must be filed through the designated online process within the given deadline, with the challenge fee paid for each question contested.

After reviewing the challenges, the NTA will take necessary action and prepare the final answer key. Candidates are also advised to download and save copies of the provisional answer key, response sheet and question paper for future reference.
