Poco M8x 5G India Launch on August 21: 7,900mAh Battery, 45W Charging and Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 Confirmed
Poco is set to launch its new M-series smartphone, the Poco M8x 5G, in India on August 21st. Ahead of the launch, the company has confirmed several key features, including a large battery and charging capacity, on its dedicated microsite.
Poco M8x 5G will reportedly launch in India soon as yet another entrant in the brand’s range of mid-range phones M8. Before its release, Xiaomi’s sub-brand has been consistently giving out hints about some of the key specs and features of the new device. Now, the brand has updated its official microsite for Poco M8x 5G, revealing some of the key features of the smartphone, including its battery capacity, its battery life, and fast charging capabilities. The company recently announced that the new Poco M8x 5G will be equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 4 series chipset. It has also been hinted that the smartphone will come in at least one green color variant.
An update to the official microsite of the upcoming Poco phone has revealed that the Poco M8x 5G will have a huge 7,900mAh battery capacity. As per the tech firm, the smartphone will provide users with three days of battery life. Moreover, the brand says that the phone will provide up to 35 hours of social media browsing time, 27 days of messaging time, 13 hours of GPS navigation time, or 64 hours of music playback.
The Poco M8x 5G will also be launched in India with 45W wired fast charging support. The smartphone maker claims that the handset will deliver a full day's battery life with just 30 minutes of charging. The upcoming Poco M-series phone will also support 22.5W wired reverse charging. Other details, such as pricing, RAM and storage variants, additional color options, and camera setup, are expected to be revealed in the coming days.
