Devices like the Pixel Fold, Pixel Tablet, and Pixel 7 Pro are currently running version 9.0 of the app. Google has started rolling out version 9.1 for the new Pixel 8 series. The changed list allows Google to use Pixel 8 Pro exclusive features like 50MP High Res Mode and Pro Controls. The company introduced the "Pixel Camera" branding during its annual developer conference, I/O 2023, held in May.
