Jio Home Live TV Plans: ₹1,000 and ₹2,000 Packs Offer 1,000+ Channels
Reliance Jio, the country's largest telecom company, offers its home broadband users the unique ability to watch live TV channels directly via the internet.
Reliance Jio, the biggest telecom operator in India, provides its customers with home plans giving them access to live TV channels through them. If you are a customer of the Jio Home plan, you can consider using the Live TV Pack by Jio in case you don't need DTH connections anymore. Of course, it will not save you much but at least you'll be able to watch TV live online at a relatively low cost. Jio offers 2 plans for Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 2,000. Let us consider the advantages of these plans in more details below.
The first plan of Reliance Jio - it is the Rs. 1,000 pack which includes live TV channels with a validity period of 60 days. Thus, you will have to pay Rs. 500 each month. The cost of the plan is approximately equal to the cost of a basic DTH pack. However, you can get access to over 1,000 live TV channels and more than 200 HD channels in case you purchase the pack. You will be able to install the app and watch live TV channels on your smartphone. Moreover, if you have a Jio Home plan, you will be able to buy a free Jio Set-Top Box (STB) and connect it to your TV to watch all TV channels there.
Jio also offers a Rs. 2,000 live TV channels pack. You can get this plan from Jio with a validity of 150 days, which is approximately five months. This brings the average cost down to just ₹400 per month. This plan also comes with over 1,000 live TV channels and over 200 HD channels.
