Royal Enfield will soon launch a powerful 250cc motorcycle with a mileage of over 50 kmpl

The motorcycle giant Royal Enfield, known for producing powerful and premium bikes, will introduce a new 250cc motorcycle in India soon. The company is planning to enhance its portfolio through a new 250cc motorcycle platform. The company will aim at the entry-level premium bike segment through segment. As per reports from the media, the company has already started negotiating with Chinese automobile firm CFMoto for developing the hybrid engine technology for the platform. If the two parties reach an understanding on this matter, it will be the first time a third-party engine will be used in a Royal Enfield motorcycle.

The new 250cc bike from Royal Enfield will be powered by the 250cc engine from CFMoto, and it will be small in size and light in weight, with hybrid tech included. The Royal Enfield bike with this engine will provide mileage of a maximum of 45 km/liter and a maximum of 55 km/liter when coupled with a hybrid system. The engine will be manufactured according to the BS6 Phase 2 and OBD-2B emissions standards.

According to reports, this bike with a 250cc engine has been named the 'V' platform by the company. The ex-showroom price of this Royal Enfield bike can be up to Rs 1.30 lakh. After its launch in India, it will be cheaper than the Hunter 350, which starts at Rs 1.49 lakh. Through this bike, the company will target those people who want to move from 100- 125cc commuter bikes to premium motorcycles. If its price remains the same as we have told, then it will compete with 150- 160cc sport commuter bikes and the TVS Ronin, which has a 225 cc engine. At the same time, most sporty naked bikes come in the 250cc segment, but Royal Enfield's retro will make it special in this segment.
