The new 250cc bike from Royal Enfield will be powered by the 250cc engine from CFMoto, and it will be small in size and light in weight, with hybrid tech included. The Royal Enfield bike with this engine will provide mileage of a maximum of 45 km/liter and a maximum of 55 km/liter when coupled with a hybrid system. Through this bike, the company will target those people who want to move from 100- 125cc commuter bikes to premium motorcycles. If its price remains the same as we have told, then it will compete with 150- 160cc sport commuter bikes and the TVS Ronin, which has a 225 cc engine. At the same time, most sporty naked bikes come in the 250cc segment, but Royal Enfield's retro will make it special in this segment.
Royal Enfield's 250cc bike will be made in India up to 90 percent, due to which its price will remain affordable. This motorcycle will be made at Royal Enfield's plant in Chennai. It will be made not only for the Indian market but also for global markets.
