TVS has celebrated the completion of 20 years of its popular bike Apache with the new model of 2025 Apache RTR 200 4V. The starting ex-showroom price of this new bike has been kept at around Rs 1.5 lakh. This new version is now OBD-2B emission norms compliant. Along with this, some new graphics and new features have also been included.
2025 Apache RTR 200 4V has come in three new colors. These include colors such as glossy black, matte black, as well as granite gray. These all get a sporty appeal from the red alloy wheels present in front. A 37mm golden USD suspension has been mounted in the bike in this version, for better riding quality and stability.
In addition, it has also been provided with a hydroformed handlebar. Which, as described by the company, gives more control as well as stability, particularly at top speeds and on corners.
The bike gets the same 197.5cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine. This engine produces 20.5 hp of power at 9,000 rpm and 17.25 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox, which also features a slipper clutch. The engine is now OBD-2B compliant, making it less harmful to the environment.
The 2025 Apache RTR 200 4V comes with dual-channel ABS with three riding modes - Urban, Sport, and Rain. Apart from this, it includes adjustable clutch and brake levers, TVS SmartConnect with Bluetooth, voice assist, and a fully digital instrument cluster. In terms of looks, it has an LED headlamp and DRL (daytime running lights), which make it more modern.
This bike will now compete directly with motorcycles like Bajaj Pulsar NS200, Hero Xtreme 250R, and Honda NX200 available in India. With its new updates, the Apache RTR 200 4V has again become a strong contender in this segment.
Vimal Sumbly, Head - Premium Segment, TVS Motor Company, said, “TVS Apache is not just a motorcycle but a global movement that has engaged over 6 million riders over the last 20 years. Inspired by our racing heritage, Apache has always been a perfect blend of performance, technology, and precision. The 2025 Apache RTR 200 4V carries forward the same legacy and offers a track-ready experience to the new-age riders.”
