Gandhinagar: The Gujarat Legislative Assembly's three-day ninth session will begin on Wednesday, with all 182 MLAs expected to join a tree plantation drive at the Secretariat as part of the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign, adding an environmental programme to the opening day of the legislative sitting.
The plantation programme will be held at the premises, opposite the statue of Mahatma Gandhi, after the inauguration of the advanced disaster management facility 'BHISHM Cube'.
