Maruti has removed the spare wheel from one of its SUVs. The company has removed it from the Fronx SUV. Instead of this, a Tyre Repair Kit is being provided as standard by Maruti. This kit is being offered as standard across the entire range of SUVs. According to the company, this has been done because it will provide more convenience to the customers.

Maruti includes a head-up display, wireless charger, nine-inch Smart Play Pro infotainment system, smartwatch connectivity, six airbags, ABS, EBD, and hill hold assist. The SUV is equipped with 16-inch 195/60 profile tyres. Steel wheels and wheel covers are available in the Sigma and Delta models. Other variants feature alloy wheels.

Maruti Fronx comes with a 1.2-liter dual VVT and one-liter turbo booster jet engine. The 1.2-liter engine generates 89.73 PS and 113 Newton metres of torque for the SUV. The SUV's one-liter turbo engine produces 100.06 horsepower and 147.6 Newton metres of torque.

Maruti had launched two new variants of the Fronx SUV some time ago. DELTA+ (O) 1.2L 5MT ESP and DELTA+ (O) 1.2L AGS ESP variants were introduced as new variants of the SUV.

The ex-showroom price of Maruti Fronx starts from Rs 7.51 lakh and its top variant can be purchased at an ex-showroom price of Rs 11.95 lakh.
