This time, the elite dog squad K-9 of the Central Reserve Police Force will be deployed in the security of the Paris Olympics. K9 teams left for Paris on 10 July as part of 10 K9 teams. They were chosen to provide security at diverse venues of the upcoming Paris Olympics, 2024 to be held from 26 July to 11 August.
Another very important role will be played by the trained dogs. One such dog belongs to K9s Vast and Danby, who are reportedly Belgian Shepherd Malinois. Their age is reportedly 5 and 3 years.
They were inducted into the job after they passed a strict test held at the CRPF's Dog Breeding and Training School, said officials of the Central Reserve Police Force. According to a statement issued by the CRPF, "the handlers of these two K9s also had to pass strict tests before their departure."
What had come to the fore earlier was a case of rigging during the recruitment examination for tradesmen in the Central Reserve Police Force. In the recruitment examination of tradesmen, a solver has been caught giving the exam in place of a friend. It is said that a young man had applied for recruitment but sent another young man instead in this examination. The examinee has been detained in the case. Both are said to be residents of Firozabad.
