Hyundai recently announced that it will offer dual front airbags and dual side airbags as well as dual curtain airbags across all vehicles in its portfolio, including affordable models like the Grand i10 Nios, Aura, and Venue.

The South Korean automaker has sold 58,006 units in October 2022. Its domestic sales increased by 15 percent to 55,128 units last month, compared to 48,001 units in the same month a year ago. In October this year, exports have increased by 36 percent on an annual basis to 13,600 units. Overall, this growth reflects Hyundai's good growth in India.

Hyundai is ahead in terms of safety, where Verna was recently given a 5-star safety rating in the car crash test report by Global NCAP. The company also promises a 5-star crash rating with the recently launched Exeter, which will soon be tested by Bharat CAP. Additionally, Hyundai has revealed that it is also volunteering for the indigenous India NCAP crash test. Now it remains to be seen whether Hyundai cars will be able to perform well in Bharat NCAP.
