The number of units of the two motorcycles reported to have the defect is not known to Honda. However, the following units may be affected according to the manufacturer: Units from December 16, 2024 to May 4, 2025 for the CBR650R models. Units from September 30, 2024 to August 22, 2025 for the CB1000 Hornet SP models.

According to information, some units of these two motorcycles may experience varying oil consumption due to conditions related to certain parts. If the oil level is not checked regularly, changes in oil pressure can affect normal engine operation. Therefore, the manufacturer recommends that motorcycles manufactured during this period be brought to a service center for inspection.

Those notified of the recall by the manufacturer should bring their motorcycles to the nearest service center, where they will be inspected and any units found to have the defect will have the part replaced at no additional charge.
