Vedanta Group company Hindustan Zinc Limited has announced a dividend of Rs 6 per share to its investors for the financial year 2023-24. The board of directors of the company on Wednesday approved the proposal of a 300 per cent interim dividend.
The metal company has set the dividend record date as December 14, 2023. This is the fourth time Hindustan Zinc shares will trade ex-dividend in 2023. Earlier this year, the company's shares had traded ex-dividend in January, March and July.
Informing the stock market regarding the dividend, the company said, under the listing regulations, the board of directors has approved the second interim dividend of Rs 6 per equity share for the financial year 2023-24. Its total cost is Rs 2,535.19 crore.
