Harshit Rana's world changed because of Gautam Gambhir, made a big disclosure on being selected in the ODI team

Harshit Rana of the Kolkata Knight Riders has been named to the Indian team for the one-day international series against Sri Lanka, which begins on August 7. Harshit Rana bowled superbly in IPL 2024 and helped the club win the title. Harshit was also named to the Indian team for the Zimbabwe tour, although he was solely used as a backup and did not play a single match. The 22-year-old fast bowler impressed in the IPL 2024 and made it onto Team India's radar.

After the T20 World Cup 2024, he was included in the Indian team for the first two matches on the Zimbabwe tour but he did not get a chance to represent the country. He has been selected for the 3 ODI series against Sri Lanka and it is believed that he will play here. After being selected in the team, Harshit said in an interview, "3 people have contributed a lot to my journey. My father, my coach Amit Bhandari and the most important contribution is of Gautam Gambhir. Gautam Gambhir's presence in the KKR dressing room changed my attitude towards the game. Gautam Gambhir always says that I have faith in you, you will win the match."
