The body of the minor was found near Karimganj Town bypass on September 9. The minor was murdered the same day. Karimganj district superintendent of police Partha Pratim Das said the incident took place on September 9 at around 11 p.m. The three accused forcefully entered the house of the minor victim and murdered her. Later he had sexual relations with her body.
Partha Pratim Das said, "On September 9, information about the incident was received from Medal Part-1, where the body of a minor girl was found inside her house. Her parents were not at home at the time of the incident. The body of the minor was The post-mortem was conducted at Silchar Medical College. Based on this, the police have registered a case under Section 376 (A). Along with this, IPC, and POCSO Act have been imposed on the accused."
