After killing a minor in Assam, three people raped the dead body, mastermind railway employee arrested

A case of committing heinous acts with the dead body after murder has come to light in Karimganj district of Assam. Assam Police on Thursday arrested three people for strangulating a minor girl to death and then raping the body in Karimganj. One of the three accused is a railway employee.

The body of the minor was found near Karimganj Town bypass on September 9. The minor was murdered the same day. Karimganj district superintendent of police Partha Pratim Das said the incident took place on September 9 at around 11 p.m. The three accused forcefully entered the house of the minor victim and murdered her. Later he had sexual relations with her body.

Partha Pratim Das said, "On September 9, information about the incident was received from Medal Part-1, where the body of a minor girl was found inside her house. Her parents were not at home at the time of the incident. The body of the minor was The post-mortem was conducted at Silchar Medical College. Based on this, the police have registered a case under Section 376 (A). Along with this, IPC, and POCSO Act have been imposed on the accused."

During the investigation, the police found a mobile number in the notebook of the dead girl. According to the information received by Notebook, three people named Biplab Paul, Shubhra Malakar, and Rahul Das have been arrested. During interrogation, Rahul Das revealed that he had tried to have physical relations with the victim girl. Rahul could not succeed in this nefarious intention because the girl opposed it.

Karimganj district superintendent of police Partha Pratim Das said, "The three arrested men conspired to go inside the girl's house on September 9 and tried to forcefully have physical relations with her. They went to her house around 11:30 p.m. They entered the room and strangulated her to death. After this, they had physical relations with the girl's body and left from there. We have got all the evidence from the mobile number."

SP Das said, "Rahul Das is a fourth-grade employee of the Railways and he is also the mastermind of the entire case. Rahul Das had taken two mobile SIM cards from Shubhra Malakar, which were used by Rahul Malakar and the victim girl and they were last in constant touch for months."

Police said further investigation into the case is underway.
