Vivo V70 Elite, V70 to Go Live at 12PM IST; Prices Tipped Ahead of Launch
Vivo is launching its new V70 series 5G in India today, consisting of the Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite models. These phones will come with a Snapdragon processor, a 6,500mAh battery, 90W fast charging, and a 50MP Zeiss-powered camera. Their prices are expected to start from ₹45,999 and go up to ₹61,999. This series is expected to have some of the thinnest bezels in the country.
The Chinese smartphone manufacturer is launching two new smartphones in India today under its Vivo V70 series lineup. The new smartphones are claimed to be successors to the Vivo V60 and Vivo V60e smartphones that were launched in 2025. The company is launching two new smartphones in the Vivo V70 series: Vivo V70 and the new Vivo V70 Elite.
Just a few days prior to the launch, the company had already disclosed some information regarding the upcoming handsets. It has been reported that these devices will come with the thinnest bezels in the market for devices below the ₹50,000 mark.

Reports suggest that the Vivo V70 5G will be priced starting at ₹45,999 for the base variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, while the 12GB + 256GB variant could cost ₹49,999. The device will be available in Passion Red and Lemon Yellow color options.
The Vivo V70 Elite is expected to be priced starting at ₹51,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant. Reports suggest that the upcoming handset will also come in 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB variants, priced at ₹56,999 and ₹61,999, respectively. The device is expected to come in Passion Red, Sand Beige, and Authentic Black colors.
Vivo's new V70 series will include the Vivo V70 Elite and Vivo V70 models. While the Vivo V70 Elite will feature a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, the standard variant will feature a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. Both handsets will run on OriginOS 6 based on the latest Android 16.
In terms of display, the Vivo V70 series is expected to feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K display with 459 ppi pixel density, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 5,000 nits of peak brightness. These phones are expected to pack a 6,500mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging support.
In terms of camera, the lineup is expected to feature a Zeiss-powered 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary camera with optical image stabilization. The devices will also feature a 50-megapixel telephoto lens and an unspecified ultrawide camera. The front is expected to feature a 50-megapixel selfie camera.
