The Vivo V70 series is expected to launch in India in the upcoming month, as indicated by sources. According to rumors, the Vivo V70 series may comprise the Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite devices. However, it is also speculated that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer may launch the Vivo V70 FE as part of the Vivo V70 series. A few weeks before its expected launch in India, the Vivo V70 series has been listed on the internet, along with its price range, photos, and colors. It is worth noting that the Vivo V70 Elite was listed on the Bureau of Indian Standards website sometime ago, indicating its launch in India in the near future.
Citing tipster Yogesh Brar, Smartprix reports that the Vivo V70 series will launch in India in mid-February as part of the premium mid-range category. The lineup is expected to be priced under ₹55,000 in the country. According to the report, the Vivo V70 will be available in Passion Red and Lemon Yellow colors. The rumored Vivo V70 Elite could be offered in Passion Red, Sand Beige, and Black. However, the Chinese smartphone maker has not yet confirmed the launch of these smartphones in India.
In terms of design, the Vivo V70 Elite and Vivo V70 appear to be similar. Both handsets are shown in a black shade. The Vivo V70 series may feature a triple rear camera unit housed in a square-shaped camera island, accompanied by an LED flash.

While the Elite model is expected to feature a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, the standard model may feature a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. Regarding the camera, it may feature a 50-megapixel main camera on the back, along with an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 50-megapixel Zeiss-tuned telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
Recently, a Vivo handset with model number V2538 was spotted with an EU energy label, revealing details about its battery and durability. According to the report, this label belonged to the Vivo V70, which will reportedly feature a 6,320mAh battery, possibly marketed as a 6,500mAh battery. This battery is said to last up to 900 charge cycles before reaching 80 percent capacity. It may support 55W wired fast charging. According to the report, the phone will come with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
