Skullcandy Crusher 1080 ANC Headphones Launched With Bose Technology, 60-Hour Battery and Adjustable Bass

Skullcandy says its new driver system is designed to deliver clearer audio, better instrument separation, and stronger bass response. The headphones support Bose's advanced technologies, including Bose Sound Design Tuning, preset EQ modes for music, movies, and podcasts, and a customizable five-band equalizer.

To control noise, the Skullcandy Crusher 1080 ANC uses Bose QuietControl Adaptive ANC with a six-microphone system, which automatically adjusts noise cancellation based on the surrounding environment. It offers three listening modes: Quiet, Aware, and Off. The Bose TrueSpatial feature with head tracking adds support for specialized audio, while the Bose WaveForm Audio Engine is designed to maintain balanced sound output. It also supports Bose SpeechClarity to reduce background noise during voice calls.

For connectivity, the Skullcandy Crusher 1080 ANC features Bluetooth 5.3 with LE Audio and Auracast support. The headphones also support multipoint pairing and Google Fast Pair Suite version 3.3 for compatible Android devices. The Auto Connect feature allows the headphones to automatically reconnect to previously paired devices. A low-latency mode is also provided for gaming and video streaming. Additionally, it offers features like Wear Detect, Personal Sound, Stay Aware Mode, and Natural Voice Sidetone for calls, along with an auto-off mode. Users can customize button functions from the Skullcandy app, while on-board controls can manage calls, music playback, and volume.

Regarding battery life, the Skullcandy Crusher 1080 ANC headphones are claimed to deliver up to 60 hours of battery life with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) off, and up to 50 hours with ANC on. The company says that just 10 minutes of charging is enough.
