Both gold and silver prices are oscillating. On Wednesday, gold and silver prices had fallen down. In addition to that, the repo rate also went up on Wednesday. It would be interesting to see what impact does this have on gold and silver prices on Thursday, October 8th.
Internationally, in the Comex market, gold prices have gone up while silver prices are falling down. As per Comex statistics, the price of gold went up by 0.39% (Gold Price on Comex), making it ₹4157.00 per ounce. Meanwhile, the price of silver fell down by 0.09% and is being traded at ₹60,240 per ounce.
The prices of both gold and silver increased in the bullion market, i.e., domestic market. The moment the market opened, gold prices started rising up to around ₹1.49 lakh per 10 grams. Similarly, silver prices also rose up to around ₹2.24 lakh per kilogram.
