Actually, Akshar Patel, who played a brilliant inning of 42 runs against Bangladesh, is injured and it seems very difficult for him to play in the title match. In such a situation, Washington Sundar has been called to Sri Lanka as his backup.

Akshar Patel batted brilliantly against Bangladesh and played a strong inning of 42 runs in 38 balls. During this inning, Akshar had hit 3 fours and two skyscraper sixes. During his innings, Akshar appeared to be in some trouble and was seen staggering.

Akshar has suffered many other injuries along with a hamstring, due to which it difficult for him to play in the final of Asia Cup 2023. In a thrilling match, Bangladesh defeated Team India by 6 runs. While chasing the target of 266 runs given by Bangladesh, the entire Indian team was all out after scoring 259 runs. Shubman Gill batted brilliantly and played a brilliant innings of 121, but he could not lead the team to victory. Team India has to face Sri Lanka in the final on Sunday.
