The Women's Premier League (WPL) is now in its second season, with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and UP Warriors (UPW) playing each other. As the game is being played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, captain Alyssa Healy of the UP Warriors has chosen to bowl first after winning the toss.
UP Warriors had a mixed bag of a season last year. Following the group stage, the team was ranked third in the points table. They split the eight games, winning four and losing the remaining two. Smriti Mandhana's team had a nightmare of a season prior. After eight games, the squad had only won two and was in fourth place.
