Childhood Traditions: Praying to Ganesha Before Every New Beginning

Talking about her childhood, Saanvie revealed that seeking Lord Ganesha's blessings before important occasions has always been part of her life.

"Since childhood, I've always prayed to Ganesha before starting anything important. For me, it was never about how grand the celebration was; it was the faith and feeling behind it. That simplicity is what makes it special to me even today," she said.

The Biggest Lesson From Vighnaharta

Lord Ganesha is also known as Vighnaharta, the remover of obstacles, and Saanvie believes this is a lesson that applies to everyday life.

"I think the biggest lesson I take from Bappa is to not be afraid of obstacles. Every challenge is there to teach you something and make you stronger. I try to stay calm, keep faith and focus on finding a way forward rather than getting overwhelmed by the problem," she shared.

On Ganpati Getting More Commercialised: "The Essence Isn't Lost"

With Ganpati celebrations becoming bigger and more commercialised over the years, Saanvie feels the essence of the festival can still remain intact.

"I think the celebration has definitely become bigger and more commercialised, but I don't think that means we've lost the essence completely," she said, adding: "For me, the real spirit of Ganpati is still the faith, togetherness and the feeling of welcoming Bappa into our lives. As long as that remains at the heart of the celebration, the grandeur doesn't really bother me."

Not Bringing Ganpati Home This Year, But Still Celebrating With Friends

While Saanvie will not be bringing Ganpati home this year, she still looks forward to being part of the celebrations with her friends.

"I'm not getting Ganpati this year. But I absolutely love visiting friends who bring Bappa home. The energy and positivity during those days are so beautiful, and I love being a part of the celebrations whenever I can," she said.

Modaks and Maharashtrian Sweets: Saanvie's Festive Food Favourites

Festivals are incomplete without food, and when it comes to Ganpati, Saanvie has a clear favourite.

"I love festive food, especially modaks! For me, they are an essential part of Ganpati celebrations. I also enjoy all the homemade Maharashtrian food and sweets that you get to try when visiting friends who have Bappa at home," she shared.

Saanvie Tallwar's Wish for Bappa This Year

As she looks forward to the festivities this year, Saanvie also has a special wish for Bappa — one firmly connected to her career.

"This year, my one wish is for Bappa to bless me with the right opportunities and help me reach the next level in my career. I've worked hard for what I want, so I just want Bappa to open the right doors and give me the strength to make the most of them," she said.
