India Rejects Pakistan-China Border Joint Commission, Reaffirms Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh Stand
India has rejected the so-called Pakistan-China Border Joint Commission, calling it legally baseless.
India today has dismissed the so-called Pakistan-China Border Joint Commission, stating that there is no legality behind it and declaring Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh as an integral part of India.
Responding to media queries, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, "We have seen reports on this matter. Our position on this matter has been clear and consistent. There is no border between Pakistan and China. We reject the so-called Joint Commission, which has no legal basis."
The Ministry of External Affairs stated that the entire Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh have been and will always remain integral and inalienable parts of India. The Ministry further stated, "Pakistan has no right to enter into any agreement regarding Indian territory that is under its illegal and forcible occupation."
