Phone with a great camera launching on June 11, there will be other models in the series as well
The Huawei Pura 80 series is set to launch in China this month. The company has confirmed the launch date and operating system details. The series is expected to include the Pura 80 Pura 80 Pro Pura 80 Pro+ and Ultra variants. The camera features of this series have been revealed in several online leaks.

No other official details have been received about the Huawei Pura 80 series yet. But tipster Fixed Focus Digital recently claimed in a Weibo post that the video recording capacity of the Pura 80 is 'extremely great'. This means that one or more smartphones of the Pura 80 series will have a powerful camera setup.
The Huawei Pura 80 series launch poster shared in the company's Weibo post shows two camera lenses. This points to better camera features.
Another tipster, Teme (@RODENT950), has shared the alleged camera specifications of the Huawei Pura 80 in a post. According to the tipster, the phone may have a quad rear camera unit. It could include a 1-inch 50-megapixel primary sensor with variable aperture, a 1/1.3-inch 50-megapixel sensor with dual focal length, a 40-megapixel ultrawide shooter, and a 2-megapixel colour temperature sensor.
Given the larger sensor size, this camera setup could be on the higher-end Pro+ or Ultra variants of the Huawei Pura 80. The tipster also shared a leaked image of the alleged camera module. The four sensors are in a triangular island, along with a pill-shaped LED flash unit.
The Huawei Pura 70 base model featured a 50-megapixel main sensor with variable aperture and OIS, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, and a 12-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. At the same time, the top-of-the-line Pura 70 Ultra gets a retractable 1-inch 50-megapixel primary sensor with variable aperture, a 40-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 50-megapixel macro telephoto shooter with OIS and autofocus support.
