Bhubaneswar, Odisha – The grand finale of the KIIT Bhubaneswar presents 61st Femina Miss India, co-powered by Rajnigandha Pearls, recently concluded in Bhubaneswar, marking a significant moment for Indian culture and fashion. The event witnessed the unveiling of “Vishwa Sutra – Weaves of India for the World,” a landmark showcase dedicated to celebrating India’s rich handloom heritage.
This initiative brought India’s traditional weaving artistry to one of the country’s most influential cultural and fashion platforms, highlighting its enduring appeal and global potential. The project was spearheaded by the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handlooms), Ministry of Textiles, in a collaborative effort with acclaimed designer Vaishali S.
A central feature of the showcase was the participation of all 30 State Winners from the Femina Miss India pageant. Each contestant proudly represented a unique handloom tradition from their respective region, transforming the runway into a vibrant tapestry of India’s diverse craft legacy.
