MI London skipper Sam Curran won the toss and opted to bowl. London Spirit began badly. Pretorius continued to play aggressively on one end; however, wickets kept falling frequently. The likes of Jonny Bairstow (13), captain Liam Livingstone (6), and Dewald Brevis (4) departed cheaply. David Willey contributed 31 off 18 balls, while James Coles chipped in with 30 off 23. Luan-Dre Pretorius ended his innings with 52 off 28 balls. In return, for MI London, Trent Boult and Nathan Souter picked two wickets each, while Richard Gleeson picked one wicket.

Chasing a target of 161, MI London got off to a decent start. Will Jacks (18) and James Vince (15) departed after scoring 161 runs. Nicholas Pooran and Sam Curran then steadied the innings but failed to accelerate the run rate. Both contributed 30+ runs. Nicholas was unfortunately run out and departed after scoring 39 runs in 25 balls. Captain Sam Curran scored 33 runs in 23 balls, hitting two sixes and two fours.

But the real work came from Sikandar Raza, who scored 32 runs in 16 balls and hit four sixes, completely swinging the match in MI London's favor. After Raza's dismissal, Curran and Tom Curran completed the remaining work. This is MI London's fourth win and they are at the second position in the points table with 16 points, while this is London Spirits' fifth defeat and they are at the seventh position in the points table.
