Sunita Ahuja Breaks Silence on 'Lock Upp 2' Exit: "Not Crazy Enough to Fight With Children"

Why She Held Back

Asked why viewers did not see her fearless, no-filter side, Sunita said her approach changed because of the bonds she formed with fellow contestants inside the house.

"I was sent into the show with a 'moofat' tag. And if I had fought with the little kids who genuinely cared for me and showed me so much love, I would have been labelled as 'crazy'. I'm not crazy enough to fight with children who loved and supported me so much," she said.

Sunita had entered 'Lock Upp 2' carrying the "moofat" tag, a label the audience gave her for her blunt, outspoken personality. Once inside the show, though, she found it difficult to give her best due to ongoing health issues.

Health Concerns Behind Her Exit

Govinda's wife revealed she is diabetic and was also going through menopause, both of which affected her energy levels and participation during her stint on the show.

Speaking about her exit, she said, "If I didn't have a health problem, I would have played more games. Because I have diabetes, and my diabetes had increased a lot, so I had to leave the game."

Sunita opted for a voluntary exit due to these health concerns. To give her a memorable send-off, the show's makers arranged a special appearance by her husband, actor Govinda, and their daughter Tina, who joined her for the farewell.
