TG Mohandas Arrest: Kerala Police Detain Journalist Over Alleged Remarks on Delhi Student Agitation
Mohandas had reportedly said that student protests in Delhi could lead to gang rapes and claimed there would be no complaints.
Right-wing political journalist TG Mohandas was arrested at his residence in Mattancherry last Sunday. He has been charged with having made derogatory comments in one of his YouTube videos regarding student agitation in Delhi over the NEET paper leak.
According to the reports, a group from the Thiruvananthapuram Cyber Police Station, along with the help of local police, arrived at the residence of Mohandas in Koovappadam near Mattancherry last Sunday evening. The police confirmed that Mohandas was at his residence during the time of his arrest.
It was reported that the police had gathered some information regarding his YouTube channel and other digital devices that were used for uploading those videos. Mohandas will be questioned extensively as part of the investigation.
