Instagram launches new Blend feature; Know it's benefits

Instagram is launching a new exciting feature 'Blend' for its users. With this feature, users can now share a personalized and private Reels feed with their friends.

Instagram claims that the said feature is as private as Direct Message (DM). Any of your friends could be invited by you to 'Blend'. The moment your friend receives your invite, Instagram makes recommendations for special Reels for both of you. These recommendations are entirely bespoke, that is, Reels list is tailored based on your friend's as well as your Instagram activity.

This 'Blend' feature of Instagram is invite-only. This means that to join it, you have to send or receive an invitation from a friend. As soon as both users join this Blend, any Reel shared via DM is automatically updated in the Blend feed. Every Reel in Blend will also be told for whom this Reel is suggested. Users can chat from the message bar below while watching Reels or can also react directly with emojis.
