Did you notice? Google has updated the logo (Google New Logo). Yes, the colored 'G' icon has been updated again by the company, which is the first visual modification in nearly ten years. It is stated that the change has been appearing on the company mobile applications on both iOS and Android, which is noticeable but subtle big design change. Google's new logo has further become more colorful now.

The firm originally overhauled the 'G' icon on September 1, 2015, where Google replaced its six-letter wordmark with a sleek, sans-serif typeface entitled Product Sans. Previously, the 'G' icon featured a lowercase white 'g' against a blue background.

According to a report by 9to5Google, the updated icon is different from the specific, solid color segments of the 'G' over the last 10 years. Instead, the new design sees red color flowing into yellow, yellow color flowing into green, and green color flowing into blue.

The report further states that the updated 'G' icon is currently visible in the Google Search app for iOS. This change has also come on the Android platform with the beta version of Google app version 16.18. However, this change is still rolling out, meaning not everyone will see this change right now.

We also checked this change on our iPhone but we are yet to see the refreshed 'G' icon update on our device. Apart from this, the report further states that Google may not refresh its six-letter 'Google' wordmark all at once. At the same time, it is also not confirmed whether this new blending style will be applicable to other product logos that come with the company's four-color logo.
