Pavan’s journey began in the world of Electronics and Communication Engineering, a field he pursued with ambition. His early stints at Siemens and Netsoft Microsystems were rich in learning but revealed a deeper calling—entrepreneurship. “I realized I was more drawn to building things, not just systems but businesses and experiences,” he shares.
His shift into sales and marketing came naturally. At Khushi International, he was instrumental in establishing their footprint in Bangalore’s air-conditioning market. Later, as a Sales & Marketing Manager at Aviva, he honed his skills in customer acquisition and revenue strategies—building the strong foundation he would later rely on as an entrepreneur.
But Pavan wasn’t one to settle. Yearning for global exposure, he pursued an MBA at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), USA. “Those years were transformative,” he reflects. Not only did he gain a global perspective, but as a Graduate Senator in RIT’s Student Government, he developed leadership skills that would shape his business ethos. Post-MBA, he joined eLogic, marketing enterprise solutions to large corporations, which exposed him to high-stakes B2B strategies and global operational models.
Returning to India, Pavan shifted focus to real estate. With the founding of PGP Enterprises and co-founding of Vestaa, he helped shape Bangalore’s residential and commercial landscape. But it was at Bangalore Airport—amid the buzz of passengers and the scent of filter coffee—that he found his next big opportunity.
“I noticed a glaring gap—while international brands like HMSHost and TFS dominated airport dining, Indian brands were nearly invisible,” says Pavan. Thus was born VTP Lounges LLP, a bold venture aimed at redefining airport dining by blending authentic Indian experiences with global standards.

His strategy isn’t just about food—it’s about identity and inclusivity. “VTP Lounges is my way of giving Indian brands their rightful place on the global stage,” he explains. His next venture? Shrisagar, a multi-cuisine vegetarian restaurant in Terminal 1, designed specifically for the airport community—ground staff, airline crews, and transit passengers—who often face a shortage of delicious, affordable food options.
But success hasn’t come easy. Building in a high-security, high-stakes environment like an international airport demands strategic thinking, flawless execution, and operational resilience. “Every day is a balancing act—staying true to the brand’s essence while navigating the complex world of airport logistics,” Pavan says.
His larger vision is audacious: Make VTP Lounges India’s first homegrown airport F&B powerhouse, rivaling global giants like HMSHost and TFS. His roadmap is well-defined:

Beyond business, Pavan is passionate about creating platforms that elevate local entrepreneurship. “India doesn’t lack talent or ideas—what we lack is the visibility that global platforms offer,” he says. VTP Lounges is not just a business model; it’s a statement of intent—that Indian brands can and will compete with the best in the world.
Pavan’s other ventures reflect the same spirit of innovation. With Waylane Logistics, he partnered with DHL to handle customs clearance at Bangalore Airport, showcasing his knack for identifying niche opportunities. Through Vestaa, he continues to build quality residential projects rooted in trust and transparency.
Ask him what fuels his drive, and he answers simply: “Curiosity and courage.” The courage to switch careers, to return from a stable U.S. corporate job, to pitch against global firms in airport tenders—and to win.
And he’s far from done. His three-year plan includes securing presence in 10+ Indian airports, 3+ global hubs, and even exploring IPO funding for VTP Lounges. The long-term vision? Becoming the “HMSHost of emerging markets.”
For Pavan, every dosa served at CTR or burger grilled at Hard Rock is a step toward redefining how the world experiences Indian brands. “If travelers leave India remembering not just the Taj Mahal but also the taste of our food, I know we’re doing something right,” he smiles.
