Mumbai, July 31 — Actress and politician Kangana Ranaut on Friday shared a childhood photograph from 1997 in which she portrayed Maa Sita in a school play based on the Ramayana.
Reposting the image on her social media account with the caption “Sweet memories,” Ranaut noted that the picture was from the 1997 batch of her school in Sarkaghat, in Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi district. The photograph shows a young Ranaut dressed as Sita in a red sari, standing beside a fellow student playing Lord Ram, while another child costumed as Hanuman kneels in front with folded hands.
She also posted a closer crop of the same image focused solely on herself, captioning it “My aashirwad to all liberals.”
