Devialet Launches Phantom Ultimate Speakers in India, Prices Start at ₹1.99 Lakh
Devialet has launched its most ambitious product yet, the Devialet Phantom Ultimate. The French audio brand claims this new range is based on a decade of research, design improvements, and engineering innovations to deliver the most immersive listening experience ever.
French high-end audio equipment manufacturer Devialet has expanded its Phantom series by launching its new product, Phantom Ultimate, in India. The French audio equipment manufacturer claimed that it had developed its new series after years of design and engineering.
The Devialet Phantom Ultimate was designed and engineered in Paris and has an identical Phantom design but with modifications to the outer build. Devialet has eliminated the woofer core cover and has also changed the tweeter grille. The modifications to the outer build, according to Devialet, have caused an internal redesign to accommodate sound and not aesthetics alone.
The company explained that the speaker's aim is to play the sound in a way that "feels just like it was recorded," whether it's a recording of a live session or something done in the studio. The company claims that the speaker can deliver sound that fills an entire room and allows listeners to experience music with physical presence.

The Phantom Ultimate runs on the latest version of Devialet OS. It supports AirPlay, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Google Cast, and Roon Ready. Devialet has also updated its mobile app, adding different listening modes for music, podcasts, and movies. The app includes a six-band equalizer that allows users to adjust sound settings.
The Devialet Phantom Ultimate lineup includes two versions: 108 dB and 98 dB.
The Phantom Ultimate 108 dB delivers up to 1,100 watts of power and supports 32-bit/96 kHz audio processing. It covers a frequency range of 14 Hz to 35 kHz and uses newly developed bass, mid-range, and tweeter drivers. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3. Users can set the speaker in single, stereo, or multi-room configurations.
The Phantom Ultimate 98 dB delivers 400 watts of power with a frequency range of 18 Hz to 25 kHz. It uses the same processing system and supports the same streaming services as the 108 dB model. Both versions come in Deep Forest and Light Pearl color options. Devialet also offers an Opéra de Paris edition featuring gold leaf panels applied by a French artist.
The Devialet Phantom Ultimate 108 dB is priced in India at ₹408,999, while the Opéra de Paris edition is priced at ₹482,999. The Phantom Ultimate 98 dB is priced at ₹199,999, and its Opéra de Paris version is priced at ₹232,999. Both models will be available for sale starting September 17, 2026, through Devialet's website, retail stores, and authorized partners.
